Goals & Considerations:
My client’s goal was to create a one-story space for herself, with plenty of room for her children and grandchildren to visit.
The project was a new construction on an existing foundation. The original house had multiple levels which we followed with our reconstruction.
The first floor’s entryway, master bedroom, and bath lead a few steps down to a great room. A large functional kitchen opens to meet the dining room and sitting area of the double-height great room. The loft on the second floor provides room for overnight guests.
